Can I have additional hours?

Each Buzzsprout plan has a set allowance, but you can go over that allowance and pay for additional hours to customize your plan. For example, if you plan to upload 8 hours of content, you choose our 6-hour/month plan and add 2 hours of additional hours! 

How much are additional hours?

Additional hours are priced individually and range from $2/hour to $4/hour depending on your monthly plan.

Audio Plans:
  • $4/additional hour on the $18/month plan
  • $3/additional hour on the $36/month plan
  • $2/additional hour on the $78/month plan 
Audio + Video Plans: 
  • $4/additional hour on the $30/month plan
  • $3/additional hour on the $60/month plan
  • $2/additional hour on the $96/month plan

When are additional hours charged? 

You don't need to purchase additional hours ahead of time. If you go over your allowance, the additional hours will automatically be included in your next invoice. You can monitor your upload hours on your Allowance page in your account. CleanShot 2026-07-07 at 13.49.23@2x.png

Can annual plans have additional hours? 

Annual plans do not allow for additional hours. If you need additional allowance on an annual plan, you’ll need to upgrade to a larger plan by going to Settings > Subscription > Plan.
