Logging In & Resetting Passwords

If you're having trouble logging in or can’t remember your password, this guide has you covered!

How do I reset my password?   

If you forgot your password, just click the Forgot your password? link on the Buzzsprout login page. This will send a password reset link to the email address attached to your Buzzsprout account. Use that button to reset your password and access your Buzzsprout account! 

I didn't get my password reset email!

If you aren't seeing your password reset email within a couple of minutes, here are some things to check. 
  • Double-check that you're in the correct email inbox! We all have several emails these days, so it's easy to check the wrong one. 
  • Buzzsprout emails can sometimes end up in your spam folder, so check your spam/junk folder in case the reset email was mistakenly routed there. 

Why am I being redirected to log in?

If you're directed back to the login screen when clicking the password reset link, here are a few solutions to try:
  • Try a different device. Sometimes saved data on your device can interfere with the reset page. If you're using a mobile device, try clicking the password reset link from a computer instead.  
  • Clear your cache. Sometimes, your computer may store outdated information, like your old password. Clearing your browser's cache gives you a clean slate!
On a computer: Navigate to your browser's settings, find the "Clear browsing data" or "Clear cache" option, and choose to clear cached images and files, as well as cookies and other site data. You can also use a keyboard shortcut! While in your browser, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (for Windows) / Cmd+Shift+Delete (for Mac) simultaneously on the keyboard to clear the data from your Buzzsprout window. 

On a mobile device: In your device's Settings, go to Apps or Applications. Then, select the app you want to clear the cache for, and tap "Storage" followed by "Clear Cache". 

Why isn't my email recognized?

If you see a message that we don't recognize your email address, there are a few things you can try:
  • Check for typos. Make sure there are no spelling errors or extra spaces in the email address you're using to log in.
  • Look for previous Buzzsprout emails. Have you received any emails from Buzzsprout at this address? This can help confirm that you're using the right email address.
  • Reach out to us! If we still don't recognize the email attached to your account, reach out to our support team. Let us know the name of your podcast, and we'll see if we can find it for you!
Note: If you've been on a free plan with no episodes and haven't logged in for over 6 months, your account may have been deleted due to inactivity. You should have been notified via email, so check your inbox for that.
