Apple Podcasts is one of the best ways to get your podcast in front of new listeners! But on some rare occasions, you may want to remove an Apple Podcasts listing. Apple Podcasts has a manual process for archiving your listing that you can do directly within your
Podcast Connect account.
Keep in mind, that archiving your podcast not only removes your Apple Podcasts listing, but it also removes your show from your Apple Podcasts dashboard and analytics. Removing your podcast from Apple Podcasts will also remove your listing and all of your reviews.
Archive Your Listing in Podcasts Connect
If you still have the Apple ID that you used to submit your podcast to Apple Podcasts, then you can remove the listing directly within Podcast Connect.
Note: Archiving your listing in Apple Podcast will not affect your Buzzsprout account.
Just follow these steps to archive the listing:
- First, log in to your Podcast Connect account and search for or select the show from your dashboard.
- Right-click the podcast that you would like to remove. If you don't see your podcast you may need to log in with a different Apple ID.
- Under More Actions, click Archive Show.
- Confirm you understand the consequences of archiving a show.
- Click Archive.
Apple will mark your podcast to be removed from Apple Podcasts. It is typically removed within 24 hours, but this process can take up to a week! If you are still seeing your podcast listing after one week, feel free to email our support team at
